BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SCHOOL

• HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro, School of Agriculture originated from the then defunct College of Agriculture. In 1992, the College of Agriculture. Ozoro campus became a full-fledged College of Agriculture [Delta State College of Agriculture] with a provost as the Chief Executive Officer; this was after the creation of Delta and Edo States from the former Bendel State in August 1991. The Delta State College of Agriculture, Ozoro operated for approximately ten (10) years before it was merged with the Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro.
